Last night we went to our ward Christmas party. It was lots of fun! Peyton had a blast running around with the other kids and mom and dad were able to visit with friends. Peyton was so excited that Santa was coming. We weren't sure if he would sit on Santa's lap or not, but he did! He was a little shy at first, but then was fine. He got his picture taken, got a candy cane, and then Aubrey hopped in the picture too! When leaving the party he was sad because Santa was gone. We told him that Santa flew back to the the North Pole. Today we pulled into the church parking lot and he yelled SANTA!!!!! We told him sorry Santa isn't here and Peyton said Santa's gone, he flied away. :) I'm so glad he did good with Santa this year....btw he is smiling in the picture. he makes this goofy face, but it is his "cheese" face.
Because of all the excitement and sugar he ate at the party, Peyton didn't want to get in his bed. So Aubrey got in and took his spot. Peyton is really into taking your spot, but if you try to take his, he's not a happy camper. So he climbed right in bed with Aubrey.
