Trick-or-Dat

If one was to come into our house right now there are a couple phrases you would hear within minutes......Wwwahahahaha, Witch, Pumpkin, candy or Trick-or-Dat. That is what Peyton has been talking about all month. He has been so excited for Halloween, but didn't realize how much candy and treats he would get!

With Halloween falling on Sunday this year, and Aubrey being born, we tried to make Halloween as exciting and special as possible. Daddy took Peyton to the trunk-or-treat on friday night. Peyton loved chasing the kids around being a lion. His other favorite thing to do was to eat the cupcakes. He got a cup cake, shoved it in his mouth in 1 bite and then walked up to the table and just stared at them. he then waled over to the stage where the ones for the cake walk were, and stared at those one too. On the video, you could just see the wheels turning in his head, "Hmmm, how can I get another...."
Peyton was a lion again and Aubrey wore a Pumpkin shirt. Daddy dressed up too. Peyton said he was a witch.
On saturday night we had a Halloween party with Grandma! Grandma, Mommy, and Peyton made cupcakes.
Peyton loved decorating them. He ate spoonfuls of frosting. Check out all the sprinkles on his plate! Can you imagine what the cupcake looked like!
Daddy and Peyton cut the pumpkins! Peyton liked it! He kept wanting to cut it, so we gave him a little tool, that he couldn't hurt himself on.
He wasn't sure about cleaning out the pumpkin and seeds at first. He said it was yuk and didn't want to get dirty. By the end he loved grabbing out as much as he could!

Look at those clean hands!

Daddy mounted Peyton up on a wall to match his lion rug.
We hope you had a Happy Halloween too!
